4 Reservoirs set in beautiful countryside to the East of Chorley near to the West Pennine Moors.
NO 6 RESERVOIR
No 6 is a small Reservoir in picturesque surroundings at White Coppice. Depths range from 4ft – 14ft near to the Dam end. This Reservoir contains a lot of small Pike with the odd monster up to 28lbs. There is a good head of Bream, Roach and Perch with the odd Chub and Trout. This is an ideal water for people with walking difficulties having parking on the entrance to the lake. Day tickets are available but no night fishing is allowed.
NO 3 RESERVOIR
No 3 is a larger Reservoir but now silted up at the eastern end. Depths range from 2ft – 6ft at the Dam end It contains a few large Carp and Pike with the usual head of Roach, Bream and Perch and an odd Trout that comes down the stream. Day tickets are available but no night fishing is allowed.
NO 2 RESERVOIR
No 2 is the largest Reservoir with depths of 12 – 30ft at the Dam end. This has a very good head of Bream up to 7+lbs, Roach, Perch and Carp into double figures and a big head of Pike with odd ones being over 20lbs. No 2 reservoir fishes best on a dull day with a good westerly wind due to the water clarity. Day tickets are available but no night fishing is allowed.
NO 1 RESERVOIR
No 1 is a large reservoir with depths of 14 – 25ft at the Dam end. This is a very good Carp water and very popular at the weekends. Carp have been caught in excess of 20lbs in weight, maybe to 28lbs but lots of doubles come out on the right day. A night permit is required to fish from dusk until dawn on this water. Again a good head of Bream 5+ lbs, Roach, Perch, large Pike and the odd Tench. There is a large car park for Reservoirs Nos 1 & 2. Day tickets are not available for this reservoir.
