Situated off Bickershaw Lane these waters have a lot to offer both the match and pleasure angler as well as being very popular with carp anglers between them they offer over 70 pegs that have excellent access and all pegs are easily accessible from 2 car parks that are available to members. Fan Lodge depths vary from 2 feet to around 7 feet and Moran’s Moat is around 6 feet deep at its deepest point, most anglers would use traditional canal type rigs. Our bailiff is on site most days and will be happy to point you in the right direction whether you‘re after fishing a commercial type snake lake or a large open water. The species on offer include carp, bream, skimmers, roach and perch. For those that enjoy a match there are regular matches on the Moat, a couple of days a week including Saturdays. Please feel free to discuss the matches when you’re down there with the bailiff as he will normally be the person that runs them.
